National Take a Hike Day is when you get outta here – to go walk up a stunningly beautiful mountain with a few friends or your dog. Either way, getting some dirt under your feet is what it’s about. Let's do this Ladies grab some friends let's get out in nature!  Lets try and get out as many as we can!!

Settignano – Corbignano – Vincigliata !!Professionally Guided!!

Distance: 7,5 km.

Total climb: 300 m.

Terrain: quiet paved roads, old cobblestone roads, wood trails.

Level: easy/Moderate

Some short sections are through wooded trails and are uneven and rocky, therefore hiking shoes are recommended.

Description: A varied walk around Settignano, from the “Via Vecchia” and the eclectic Castello di Mezzaratta through Ponte a Mensola and the house where Boccaccio lived in Corbignano, to the romantic castle of Vincigliata and the pleasant woods around it, ending up on the “via degli scalpellini” dedicated to the many stonecutters and chisellers in the history of Settignano.
