Greve in Chianti

A expertly guided loop walk from the main piazza into the beautiful roads and forest of the Chianti region.  We will see the Medieval  Castle of Montefioralle, and St Cresci Paris Church and much more.  We will end in time for you to get back to Florence or stay and choose from one of the many trattoria’s  and sit and have lunch and a glass of wine! Choices! Exciting!

Distance: About 10KM ( 6 miles)

Total climb : About 400m

Terrain: Dirt roads and Paths in Forests

Level: easy to Moderate ( some climbing and forest walking)

What to bring: Hiking boots, poles, Backpack, water, sunglasses, binoculars, snacks.

Meeting point: Meeting in Greve, Piazza Matteotti (the main square, near the Verrazzano statue)

Cancellation policy: Please cancel no later than Tuesday the 27th. otherwise no refund unless I get someone to take your place. This walk ONLY takes place if we are yellow.  I know some of us have cars and we can carpool of needed.
