Day 1:

We leave tower houses behind to enter beautiful fields: amazing views, lovely chapels, and gorgeous country houses. Colle Val d’Elsa, the city of crystal and paper, will welcome us with his charming ambiance. An authentic hidden gem to discover.

Day 2:

One of the most beautiful routes along Via Francigena. Walking along the river Elsa natural park will be lovely and refreshing. We will reach Strove and Abbadia Isola, a Benedictine abbey founded in 1001. The arrival in Monteriggioni will be super panoramic, the castle is really well preserved and full of hidden corners.

Day 3:

The longest stretch of our pilgrimage, just gorgeous. We will walk for a while in the Montagnola oak tree forest and step by step we will discover the amazing castles, villas and country houses of Siena surroundings. We will enter downtown by the Camollia Gate that welcome us with the inscription “Cor magis tibi Sena pandit”: Siena opens a bigger heart to you, than the door you are crossing”. Welcome to the city of Palio!

We will suggest places to stay if you want to just have a relaxing time and a nice dinner instead of heading back to Florence. It will be a long day.
