Description: The house of Machiavelli, also referred to as L'Albergaccio, was the place where Niccolò Machiavelli lived during his exile from Florence. This is located in Sant'Andrea in Percussina in San Casciano in Val di Pesa. What we can see during our walk: Villa Machiavelli in Sant’Andrea in Percussina + Spedaletto (old hostel for pilgrims) + Villa Mangiacane (designed by Michelangelo) + Villa Antinori del Cigliano + San Bartolomeo Church. We have a lunch reservation at Villa Machiavelli after the hike...lunch is at the individual's expense. (If you are unable to stay for lunch, you can still join us for just the hike)
