Scandicci: from Villa Costanza to San Martino alla Palma

Villa Costanza is the terminal stop of tram T1, so it can be easily reached from the city center of Florence. It also marks the end of the urban area. Soon we will be walking on the hills of Scandicci, through fields and woods. We walk by the beautiful Villa Antinori and reach the church of San Martino alla Palma, built before year 1000. On clear days the hills offer great views across the mountains surrounding Florence.
