Trek in Greve in Chianti

Description:  A expertly guided loop walk from the main piazza into the beautiful roads and forest of the Chianti region.  We will see the Medieval  Castle of Montefioralle, and St Cresci Paris Church and much more.  We will end in time for you to get back to Florence or stay and choose from one of the many trattoria’s  and sit and have lunch and a glass of wine! Choices! Exciting! 

Distance: About 10KM ( 6 miles) 

Total climb : About 400m 

Terrain: Dirt roads and Paths in Forests 

Level: easy to Moderate ( some climbing and forest walking) 

What to bring: Hiking shoes, poles, Backpack, water, sunglasses, snacks.  

Cost is 40 Euro cash due at the beginning of the trek.

Meeting point: Meeting in Greve, Piazza Matteotti (the main square, near the Verrazzano statue)
