Villa La Quiete - Serpillo Loop

Professionally guided walk by Sara. It's a bit busy at the beginning getting out of Careggi but then it becomes pleasant and lovely, with beautiful views on the Fiesole side and Firenze. It's partially on asphalt, partially on woody paths. Uphill the first part, then downhill. Regarding timing, we have shorter and longer versions along the way.

Total climb :248m

Terrain: combination of asphalt, mule tracks and forest 

Level: Medium. Gradual up hill to 248m for about the first 4km and then the remainder is downhill.  

What to bring: Hiking boots, poles, Backpack, water, sunglasses, binoculars, snacks.  We will be taking breaks and have time for a quick snack.

Parking is at parcheggio di scambio via della Quiete at Careggi 

Take the tram line T1 Leonardo direction Ospedale Careggi. The meeting point is a 20 minute walk from there or you can jump on the bus 43 to Oblate 01 stop. (9 minutes- 5 stops) 

There are plenty of bus options to careggi, depending on where you are. The stop closest to the meeting point is Oblate 01.  Of course Taxi’s will bring you as well.
